One-time price
Lumi Desk is intentionally priced as a cheap alternative to Cluely for candidates who do not want another recurring bill.
Private by default
Your notes, playbooks, and session history stay on your Mac with encrypted storage.
Interview + notes
Lumi Desk works as both an interview answer assistant and a note-taking workflow with transcript export.
Who should switch from Cluely?
Choose Lumi Desk if you want a cheaper macOS-first tool, local storage, and a simpler buy-once model.
What does Lumi Desk still require?
You bring your own provider keys. Most people use OpenAI or Deepgram for speech-to-text plus their preferred AI backend, which keeps the software price low instead of bundling another subscription.
